How To Trek Your Way To Smarter Shopping

Are you interested in smarter shopping and saving money? Do you find yourself constantly looking for the best deals on the market? I do. I want to keep as much of my hard earned money in my pocket, that is why I do most of my shopping online. From Food to clothes, chances are you’ll save a buck or more when shopping online. Below, I have listed a few websites to get you started saving more money than ever before.

Amazon.com

Whether you’re a shopaholic or a part time nanny, chances are good that you have heard of Amazon. The place where you can buy anything from containers to hold your finest of powder to that police uniform you had in mind for Halloween. If you have the time to wait a few weeks for delivery, your chances of saving a buck are extremely high. Amazon also has Amazon Prime in many locations. Having a Prime membership entitles you to receive exclusive shopping offers, usually free 2 day shipping, along with movies to watch and music to listen too. You can sign up for Amazon Prime here. . .

Overstock.com

Overstock, or O.co is a website specifically tailored to people with saving money in mind. This website claims to buy from retailers and manufacturers when they have overstocked inventory and by doing this, O.co is able to provide fantastic deals on everyday items from the kitchen to the car. Best of all, this site actually rewards you for shopping. Unlike amazon, you can sign up for extra savings through their Club O. They have two options, one which is free and gives you 2% of the money you spend in rewards and special email savings, or for about $20 per year, you can receive 5% plus free shipping on all items. However, what I find to be really amazing is their 5% dining rewards. On both the free account and paid account, you can link your debit/credit card with Club O and receive rewards for dining out at night.

Etsy.com

Looking for something a little different? Try Etsy. Etsy is a website where regular people get their chance at opening an online business. Some people do it as a hobby, where others are making a growing income. But what is Etsy exactly? Well, Etsy allows people to manufacture and sell their own products right from their own home. Most of the people who sell on Etsy, hand-make their products and sell them at competitive prices. You can basically find everything from iPhone accessories to one of a kind dresses. If you’re into small business shopping, Etsy is for you.

Retailmenot.com

Remember that time you were shopping online, you landed on the checkout page and found a text bar allowing you to enter in a promo code, which you probably didn’t have? Well, RetailMeNot is a site to help you find that promo code so you can save an extra buck or two. I have found their codes to be useful on Pizza, clothes, and many department stores.

Ebates.com

Finally, there is Ebates. Ebates is kindof like a one stop shop for anything and everything. They have perfected the online shopping experience with savings in mind. In fact, right now, you can sign up for a new account, FOR FREE, and receive 10 dollars in the form of a Walmart Gift Card or an Ebates Cash Bonus. Also, once a member, you can start earning Ebates Bonus Cash in the form of PayPal or check payouts for shopping from stores like Target, Amazon, eBay, Walmart, JCPenney and more. The best part is, you’ll be receiving up to 40% cashback on all of your purchases.  For more information, check out their welcome page.
