Organization, some might say this is the key to success. Whether it be OCD or an organized chaotic mess, organization is what helps us stay on track and find the right tool for the job. In fact most of the tools you might need to stay organized today are found on the web, or as an application. In fact, applications have helped us stay organized in the workplace, home and with every day tasks since the dawn of the personal computer. Now days, we have mobile applications which allow us to integrate our every action into an organized fashion. Here are five free apps you need this week to get and stay organized.

First on my list this week is Evernote. Evernote has been around for years and has certainly made a name for itself. This amazing app allows you to stay connected through all of your devices. Connecting with yourself has never been easier. Make notes with inclusions such as, ‘To-Do’ lists, clipped articles from saved blogs, photos, voice-memos and more. Best of all, Evernote is free to download and is available for both iOS and Android. Download Evernote Here.

Next up, Quip. Quip is an app that has been around for a while and is apparently the go to app for Mark Zuckerberg’s organization needs. Quip make it easy to create, share and add onto documents and spreadsheets. With Quip, you can also access chat with your colleagues to discuss projects. I like the idea of this app because it incorporates Google Docs with Hangouts and creates an easy seamless work-space. Download Qujp Here.

Another great app you need this week to stay organized is Rewire, the Habit and Goal Tracker. Rewire is a great way to track things you do everyday. With this app, you can be assured you will never forget to complete that daily task and keep track of your daily activities. I like this app because it allows you to customize the theme of the app and change the appearance for your taste. You can also categorize different habits or activities for work or school, etc. Rewire, also gives you graphs on your habits or activities so you can track your daily tasks. Rewire is a great app for tracking your life. Download Rewire Here.

Looking for a more simplistic way to organize and simplify your life? Look no further than Clear Focus: Productivity Timer. This App may be simple, but it’s got a widget. Yep, with this app you can set timers for different activities. Start and stop the timer from the home screen with the use of a widget and never lose track of time again. Download Clear Focus Here.

Lastly, I strongly encourage you to download IFTTT, or If This Then That. IFTTT has been around for years and helped many users automate their lives. You can Schedule posts to social media, calls to your cell phone with weather updates and much, much more. Best of all, IFTTT is free to download and is easy to use. Just create a recipe or choose from many others already created by others. Automate your life with IFTTT and never forget to do something again. Download IFTTT Here.
